Rush House are currently fundraising to transform a concrete outdoor area at one of their properties into a welcoming garden for the care-experienced young people they support.
Many of these young people have faced significant challenges in their lives, and having access to a calm, welcoming outdoor environment can make a real difference to their wellbeing, confidence and mental health – giving them somewhere to relax, connect with others and simply enjoy being outdoors.
Their goal is to raise £1,500 to help turn the space into a garden filled with plants, flowers and greenery, alongside comfortable seating and a decking area.
And, if everything comes together in time, Rush House are hoping to open the new garden on Rotherham Day, 18th September.
