Rotherham Music Showcase: For the first ever Rotherham Day, we’ve put together a little showcase of some of Rotherham's musical mainstays! If you like blues, soul, folk, rock and latin - we've got you covered! Wear red, support local artists, come out and be proud of our town! Featured artists: Nate Kennedy - making his Three Cranes debut, Nate will showcase his range as a soulful singer-songwriter blending neo-soul, jazz, bossa nova, folk and alternative rock influences. His music combines warm, expressive melodies with thoughtful songwriting. Nate brings an intimate and captivating energy to every live performance. Chris D. Jones - making a welcome return to The Three Cranes, Chris offers blues-infused storytelling, combining gritty musicality with sharp humour. Reverend Bullmoose - Bringing a raw blend of blues, folk and Americana, Reverend Bullmoose delivers gritty vocals, infectious rhythms and storytelling that ranges from heartfelt to downright mischievous. Bev Doyle - Rotherham singer-songwriter Bev Doyle brings a warm, soulful sound to the local music scene, blending heartfelt songwriting with a relaxed acoustic style. A captivating live performer, Bev has a knack for making every audience feel right at home.

To celebrate Rotherham Day Ellie will be inviting all the local children that ride at the BMX track to visit her master class of tricks and tips and hear about everything Olympic Development

REMA Family Hub will celebrate Rotherham Day by wearing Red and going for a buggy walk to Clifton Park and sharing why Rotherham is a great place to live.

We have invited local organisations and charity's to come down and have a stall on the FanZone at a Rotherham United F.C. matchday for free. They can promote their organisation to show people what amazing work happens in Rotherham!

We will be arranging some 'red' and 'Rotherham' themed activities for our guests, who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, to take part in with our staff during our Friday morning drop-in from 10am - 1pm.

We are holding many activities on this day inclusive of red. Crafts, wear it red, social media.

We’re celebrating Rotherham Day by showing some love for our town - wearing red, raising money for a local charity and, most importantly, supporting local Rotherham businesses. We’ll enjoy a team lunch from Scran and round off the day with a drink at Little Haven in Parkgate.

SteelPhalt Rotherham will be celebrating Rotherham Day with a range of activities across its local sites. Colleagues will be invited to take part in a Rotherham Day photo competition, share their local pride by wearing red on 18th September, and test their knowledge with an internal Rotherham-themed quiz. SteelPhalt will also host a Rotherham Day raffle, with proceeds donated to Rotherham Hospice, and share information highlighting the company's long history and contribution to Rotherham. Through these activities, SteelPhalt will be celebrating the people, places and community spirit that make Rotherham special.

Social Eyes Rotherham are going all out for Rotherham Day! Their football players will train in red or Rotherham shirts, the Ladies Gym Group will wear red for their session at Rotherham Leisure Centre, and the Luncheon Club will serve a red-themed menu featuring chilli and a red dessert. Their band will perform a Rotherham-related song, while staff will wear red and the Social Eyes building will be dressed with Rotherham-themed decorations throughout the day. ❤️

I will be celebrating Rotherham Day 2026 by bringing people together through live saxophone performances featuring jazz, blues and contemporary music. My aim is to create an enjoyable community atmosphere, celebrate Rotherham's cultural diversity, encourage social connection, and support local pride through music.

Join Hopian in celebrating Rotherham Day on 18th September! We'll be joining the town-wide celebrations with a range of fun activities taking place throughout the day, both inside and outside our Frith Space Café on High Street. There will be plenty of opportunities to get involved, including our exciting Raffle, featuring some fantastic prizes, with tickets available for just £2 each. As part of the celebrations, we're inviting everyone to help us create a ❤️ Red Chain of Positivity ❤️. Simply pop into Frith Space Café and write something positive about Rotherham on a red strip of paper. It could be, a person who inspires you, a favourite place, a special memory, something you love about the town or something you're proud of. On Rotherham Day, we'll proudly display our growing Red Chain of Positivity throughout the café, celebrating all the wonderful things that make Rotherham special. The café will be decorated in red, and our team will be wearing red too as we show our support and community spirit. We are going to hold a Coffee Morning for SEND Families and Neurodiversity people

To celebrate Rotherham Day we've created the Miller Martini which combines Raspberry sambuca, lychee liqueur, raspberry syrup, lemon juice and lemonade. It's a lovely red and white colour to honor Rotherhams mighty millers.

Rotherham’s local NHS charity will be getting behind Rotherham Day by decorating their hub in red on the 18th and encouraging NHS staff and supporters to wear red on the day! They'll be sharing what Rotherham means to them across their social media channels, inspiring others to celebrate the power of community.

To celebrate Rotherham Day, we’ll be transforming the pub with red decorations and encouraging everyone to wear red to show their Rotherham pride. We'll also be hosting a big celebration featuring a disco and karaoke, creating a fun and welcoming atmosphere where the community can come together and enjoy the occasion.

We are joining in the fun on the 18th September by holding an event outside the shop. We are planning on doing a Tombola, lucky dip, blind date books, lucky bags and a cake stall. To celebrate Rotherham Day, the Rotherham District Civic Society will be showcasing the town's rich history through a series of engaging activities. They will be leading a guided historical walking tour for Year 10 and 11 students through Rotherham town centre from 9.30am to 12.30pm, starting at the Town Hall. In the afternoon, they will host an adult guided walk from 1.00pm to 3.00pm, meeting at the Roman ruins in Clifton Park before walking into the town centre. They will also be delivering a presentation and virtual tour of Rotherham town centre, using historical photographs and PowerPoint, to students at Rotherham College, helping to bring the town's heritage to life for the next generation.

The Pub will be open on Rotherham Day from 14.00 to 23.00. Customers will be encouraged to wear RED on the day. Music, with the theme of RED going trough the selection of tunes, will be played from 16.00. A raffle will be run to win a basket of Red grocery produce. The pub will be trimmed with RED party decorations and balloons and it is hoped that a RED ale from Chantry Brewery will be available on the day.

We're proud to be celebrating Rotherham Day and getting involved with our local community! Our shop will be dressed in red decorations, and our team will be wearing red T-shirts throughout the day to show our Rotherham pride. We'll also be hosting a special pet photo shoot, with all proceeds going to charity, giving you the chance to capture a lovely photo of your pet while supporting a great cause. Winthrop Gardens is celebrating Rotherham Day by painting the town red! Join the fun with a sponsored circular walk starting and finishing at Winthrop Gardens, where everyone is encouraged to dress as their favourite red character or simply wear something red. Guests and carers from the Winthrop Memory Café will also be taking part in a sponsored walk around the gardens. The celebrations continue with a special "Paint Winthrop Red" Vintage Afternoon Tea, where visitors are invited to wear a touch of red, and a "Bake Your Cake Red" sponsored baking class at the Rotherham Show, helping to kick off the Rotherham Day celebrations in delicious style.
